Panther Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced network engineer for a large HRIS contract, based in Northern Virginia (Dulles corridor). The roles will be full-time, you will be an employee of our client company, not contractors. THIS POSITION IS DESIGNATED AS SECURITY ASSESSED - CANDIDATES MUST HAVE US CITIZENSHIP AND HAVE OR BE ELIGIBLE FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE STATUS. Experience and requirements Analyzes test data and recommends hardware or software for purchase. Identifies areas of operation, which need upgraded equipment, such as modems, fiber optic cables, and telephone wires. Tests and evaluates hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing system. Reads technical manuals and brochures to determine equipment, which meets establishment requirements. Monitors system performance. Conducts survey to determine user needs. Develops and writes procedures for installation, use, and solving problems of communications hardware and software. Visits vendors and reviews literature to learn about available products or services. Assists users to identify and solve data communication problems. Trains users in use of equipment.
